Has been signed on loan for a month from Warwickshire. Not sure about his recent form but remember him being pretty good a couple of seasons ago. Any thoughts?

Haven't come across this announcement yet, but it seems that a number of counties are currently picking up experienced bowlers to reinforce injury
depleted squads (Leicestershire & Lancs) rather than blood youngsters.

I take it we still have bowlers in the squad we are paying salaries to, so why not play them for a month and make them earn their money.
Can't see they would be any worse than a loanee. Chris |

This is a fairly savage indictment of Ormond and Tudor... and even Jordan. Let's hope Dernbach and Meaker stay ahead of him in the selection queue.
It presumably also confirms we aren't getting an overseas quickie... probably not an overseas of any description. |

I saw Dernbach on Sunday and am surprised | ||

h managed to get 30 odd wickets this season- he looked poor and lacking in real effort. Nel was excellent and ill be a big miss-for his attitude as much as his
actual bowling. Ialso thought Collins looked smooth and dangerous, particularly when he pitchd it up.
Id have to say we have quantity rather than qualiy in the bowling department this year. |

What's the point of Anyon ? Is Meaker (who has also got runs) injured ?

Could not agree more,Surely one of the younger players are better than this misfit, the same can be said about Tudor, between them they bowled 20 overs for 144
runs over 7 runs per over, surely the likes of Linley and Meaker or even Jordan cannot do any worse than these two.

What an impact he made. He's more of a Muddlesex player.
