Tudor signed a 1-year deal at the end of the 2008 season so presumably he's gone
Pedro Collins signed a 2-year Kolpak deal in 2007 so presumably he's gone too.
I think Schofield's contract is also up at the end of 2009, as is Tim Linley's and Gary Wilson's. I think Simon King may also be out of contract too.

Those contracted until 2010 are Jon Batty, Derbach, Arun Harinath, Spriegel, Meaker, Newman, Evans, Brown and Afzaal.
Those here until 2011...

Squatters try to find a home

Anyone notice that the Lord's squatters are looking at moving sections of their operation to some place in hertfordshire? Plus they signed that spinner we had on loan. He looked ok and got that one innings, did nothing with the ball, although he didn't have much support. Still that won't change at Radlett CCC.

I mentioned a few weeks ago this is a bowler coming to end of contract and I wonder who can afford his wages and where he would be prepared to go.

Interesting to note Surrey are least favorites to sign him with bookies who only go Lancashire and Durham as bigger odds than Surrey,

Surely we are one of only a few who could pay what he is after........

I would like the look of an attack lead by Hoggy and Nel with Dernbach supporting it will bring him on no end.

Off to middlesex apparently, mainly as he wants to stay in London although i believe its because they are the only ones who are daft enough to overlook his attitude and sign him. Rumour has it Adams wanted him to stay but others at the club have forced him out, again i dont believe this atall. Hes also mentioned that the stories of bullying are untrue and that Surrey are in a mess and all Adams does is sign cheques. He doesnt sound bitter at all.

I like the Brown kit. The talk of changing it is bloody annoying....

We are the brown Caps more importantly Chocolate is the official colour on out white.
I think its great to have a colour for our one day kit that has meaning.

Overseas player

There have been rumours that we are looking at P. Chawla as overseas player for 2010 but after watching him being out bowled by the young Aussie leggie Smith today, I hope we look elsewhere. He also dropped a catch and was out first ball.

Add to this that in a recent interview with Cricinfo he stated that he expected to return to Sussex next season, Adams and co may be wasting their time and just adding to bargaining power for Chawla to get a higher fee from Hove.

WTFIGO, that's all I'm saying. First, he shows himself to be a worse cricketer than most of the other players in a very poor Surrey side, then he stars with bat and ball on the international stage. To be fair, Surrey have managed to make some very ordinary players look like worldbeaters this season, but only when they play against us. Hopefully Adams won't fall for it and re-sign him.
